About Our Teachers

Mrs. Fejes has been teaching at ADF for 17 years.  She spent time in Kindergarten and 3rd grade but currently teaches 1st and 2nd grades.
Mrs. Fejes received a BA in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Geography from Cal State Long Beach.  She loves her family and has two kids- Amanda who is 20 and Zach who is 17.  Amanda is in junior year at Chico State studying Business Marketing.  Zach is a senior at Colfax High School and enjoys playing football and hitting the slopes with the ski team.
ADF is special to Mrs. Fejes because of the family atmosphere and the way we watch over each other and take care of one another.

Mrs. Zentner has taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades, and is also the school resource (special ed) teacher.  She currently teaches math and science in the 5/6 classroom.

Mrs. Zentner graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Spanish. She earned her teaching credential and Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she earned an Educational Specialist Credential (mild/moderate) from Brandman University.

Mrs. Zentner's husband is semi-retired. Her daughter, Emily, has a B.A. in Journalism and works at Capital Public Radio. Her son attends Sierra College with a strong interest in chemistry.  On her own time, Mrs. Zentner enjoys traveling to Civil War sites.

Mrs. Zenter has worked at ADF since 2003. What she enjoys about Alta is the fact that it is a small rural school. Both of her children graduated from Alta, and it prepared them very well for high school. She really loves the students here. If she ever needs a smile, there are 104 faces here that will make her smile!
